THE MINERVA TREATMENT IS PERFORMED IN A DOCTOR’S OFFICE IN UNDER FIVE MINUTES
(OK, you can get up now.)

If you haven’t heard of endometrial ablation, don’t be concerned. It’s not bleeding edge technology, but a simple FDA approved (1997) treatment that ends heavy bleeding.

Minerva is the first ablation device in 15 years that improves upon standard endometrial ablation treatments, resulting in better outcomes and a more comfortable experience for you.

“The difference between the older ablation technologies and Minerva is night and day. Minerva can be performed in the doctor’s office with a far greater success rate and safety rate than in the past.”

WHY DOCTORS CHOOSE MINERVA

Lowest Power

“The fact that Minerva uses only 40 watts is very important, because the higher the wattage, the more discomfort for patients.”
Dr. Michael Karram, M.D.
Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers Cincinnati, OH

Automatic Safety Checks

“One of my favorite features of Minerva is the Automatic Safety Check process. I am confident the procedure will be done right.”
Dr. John LaGrand, M.D.
Advanced OB-GYN Associates, Grand Rapids, MI

100% Silicone Membrane

“The silicone membrane makes it easy to insert and remove without sticking to the tissue of your uterus or cervix, making Minerva a safe and more comfortable option.”
Dr. Laurianne Scott, D.O.
Women’s Comprehensive Health Center, Lancaster, OH

IMAGINE NEVER LEAKING AGAIN

Before choosing Minerva, it’s important that we first identify the cause of your heavy bleeding and you must also be certain that you do not wish to become pregnant in the future.

DURING THE MINERVA TREATMENT

Minerva is a slim, soft wand that is gently inserted into your uterus, and opens like a fan. Once opened, it uses warm plasma for just 2 minutes to eliminate the uterine lining. Then the Minerva wand is removed.

Without the lining of your uterus there is nothing to bleed and shed each month. So now you don’t need a giant bag to hold your pads and a change of clothes. No more doubling over and scooting to the bathroom to prevent disaster.

You get it! Freedom!

The Recovery

“It’s no worse than a menstrual cramp. I’d rate it a 4 on a pain scale. It was easier than what I expected.”
—Andrea, S., Grand Rapids, MI

The Recovery

AFTER THE MINERVA TREATMENT

Shortly after the Minerva treatment you’ll be on your way home. Once there, any temporary mild to moderate cramping and discharge may be managed by over-the-counter pain medicine.

The vast majority of women relax for the remainder of the day and are back to fabulous in hours. That said, if you want to take a day off after your treatment, we won’t tell anyone.

(You deserve it.)
